PXG's Battle Ready II Putters boast a thin-walled hollow body construction, an injection molded core, and the thinnest face in putters. This design results in a high moment of inertia (MOI) that provides exceptional stability, forgiveness, and a remarkable sound and feel on every stroke.
The Blackjack, a bold mallet-style putter, is part of the Battle Ready II lineup. Featuring a high MOI design, the Blackjack offers exceptional stability, forgiveness, and clean alignment features, allowing golfers to "double down" their bets as they sink more putts.
The hollow body construction in the Battle Ready II putters addresses a key limitation of traditional solid body putters. Unwanted mass near the center of gravity in solid putters can limit MOI. By repositioning mass to the extreme perimeter of the putter head, the hollow body design improves consistency on mis-hits.
PXG's innovative S COR technology further enhances the Battle Ready II putters. S COR is a lightweight polymer injected into the body of each putter, bonding seamlessly with the ultra-thin face. This construction not only improves MOI but also reduces vibrations, providing a superior sound and feel.
Inspired by the company's celebrated flagship irons, PXG's hollow body putter design enabled their engineers to develop an exceptionally thin putter face, measuring just 0.055" thick. This highly responsive face allows the center of gravity to be positioned farther back in the clubhead, increasing the moment of inertia (MOI).
The third iteration of PXG's pyramid face structure boasts a more aggressive milling pattern that improves ball roll characteristics. This new face pattern offers the soft sound of an insert putter while maintaining the responsive feel of a solid milled putter.
The Battle Ready II Putter's balance can be fine-tuned by adjusting the location and mass of the weights. Further customization is possible with PXG's selection of hosels, ensuring optimal launch conditions based on the player's stroke and preferences.
The Plumber's Neck hosel orients the shaft axis in a heel location, creating a mid-toe hang angle that helps players square up the face. This hosel design can be effectively used by both straight and arced stroke types.
The Battle Ready II Blackjack Putter is built with a 34" straight chrome shaft and the PXG Straight I Putter Grip. It comes with PXG's new Battle Ready II Headcover, featuring a durable matte black pebble exterior, a soft microfiber interior, and a QuickStick Cart Magnet for attachment to the golf cart.
