Complementing the XCOR2 technology is PXG's ultra-thin clubface made from HT 1770 maraging stainless steel. Produced through a specialized cold roll manufacturing process and aged heat treatment, this advanced material and construction results in an exceptionally thin face measuring just 0.058" (~1.55mm) – the thinnest in golf. This enhances the coefficient of restitution (C.O.R.) for extreme face deflection and exceptional ball speed.
The 0211 XCOR2 Irons also incorporate PXG's proprietary Power Channel Technology. This U-shaped corridor built into the internal face surface increases face deflection and transfers energy to simultaneously boost launch angle, trajectory, and ball speed.
Further contributing to the impressive performance is the progressive set design. The clubs feature varied offset, blade length, and bounce, providing an ideal blend of accuracy and distance across the iron set. Longer blade lengths with increased offset in the longer irons promote easier squaring of the clubface at impact, while the wider soles and deeper centers of gravity in the shorter irons help deliver a more dynamic loft and higher launch.
To ensure consistent quality and precision, the 0211 XCOR2 Irons undergo a robotic polishing and laser welding process. This advanced manufacturing technique supports tight tolerances in sole and face perimeter geometry, as well as a high-strength, accurately positioned face.
The PXG 0211 XCOR2 Irons are available in a comprehensive set makeup, with lofts ranging from 19° (4-iron) to 60° (LW). Standard length and lie specifications are provided for each club, catering to the needs of male and female golfers alike.
Shaft options include a variety of premium graphite and steel offerings, providing the flexibility to fine-tune the performance to individual swing characteristics and preferences. Graphite shaft options include the ProjectX Cypher and Mitsubishi MMT, while the steel shafts feature Elevate MP and V2 Elevate Tour models.
