At the heart of the 0211 XCOR2 Irons is PXG's revolutionary XCOR2 technology, a result of years of research and development. This lightweight polymer core material enables more weight to be positioned low and around the perimeter of the clubhead, dramatically increasing the moment of inertia (MOI) and forgiveness. Combined with an ultra-thin clubface, XCOR2 enhances the coefficient of restitution (COR) for extreme face deflection and exceptional ball speed.

PXG's proprietary Power Channel Technology is another key feature of the 0211 XCOR2 Irons. This U-shaped corridor built into the internal surface of the face increases deflection and bend in the top sector, creating face movement and transferring energy to simultaneously boost launch angle, trajectory, and ball speed.

The angled top rail design of the clubhead removes mass from the heel and repositions it toward the toe, helping to position the center of gravity (CG) very close to the center of the face. This results in higher MOI, more forgiveness, and excellent consistency.

The clubface is made from an HT 1770 maraging stainless steel using a cold roll manufacturing process and an aged heat treatment method, producing an extremely tight grain structure and higher-strength performance than traditional forging. This advanced material and process enables PXG to deliver the thinnest clubface in golf, measuring a mere 0.058" (~1.55mm) thick.

The 0211 XCOR2 Irons also feature a precision robotic polishing and laser welding process, ensuring consistent sole and face perimeter geometry, as well as a high-strength and precise attachment method for the face.

The progressive set design of the 0211 XCOR2 Irons includes varied offset, blade length, and bounce, providing an ideal blend of accuracy and distance across the iron set. Longer blades feature more offset, allowing for greater forgiveness, while the wider sole increases playable bounce and creates a deeper CG for higher launch.
